Sue HansonSue Hanson, Principal

A savvy and well-respected PR professional, Sue approaches every campaign with fresh insight, up-to-the-minute trend awareness and the latest influencer outreach strategies. With 20+ years of industry experience, Sue connects clients to national trends and creates compelling media stories, which lead to resounding success. From her beginnings as a classroom teacher to launching PR with Panache!, Sue’s determination to exceed expectations has led the company to a leadership position in the public relations arena. Her strengths in every facet of PR and her raw, honest approach create a rewarding, refreshing approach to client-media relations. When she doesn’t have her nose to the grindstone, you may find Sue out on the dock with a martini in her hand!

Jacob Hanson, Principal

A graduate of Fort Lewis College, Jacob earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Language (Spanish). Spending subsequent years of his career dedicated to sales growth, marketing and brand awareness, Jacob brings to PR with Panache! a fierce passion for education and extensive experience in moving high-quality companies and their brands to the forefront of the education marketplace. A skilled communicator with a zest for life, he has the wherewithal to see the big picture, connecting the dots between sales, marketing and public relations and creating dynamic communication plans to tell your story. A native of Minnesota with a strong affinity for the Rocky Mountains, Jacob enjoys making fresh tracks and hiking with his hound dog, Dan.

An ambitious public relations professional, Tara loves projects that involve writing, research and social media strategy. Though she grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Tara moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University, where she earned a degree in journalism and public relations. Tara joined PR with Panache! from McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations, the largest independent firm in TN, bringing with her a passion for education, in particular early childhood education.  She now calls Music City home, and on her days off, you can find her curled up on the couch with a good book, her husband and their cat, Mozzie.


Karen SjoblomKaren Sjoblom, Writer and Editor

With nearly three decades of award-winning writing/editing experience in the medical, scientific, high tech and education fields, Karen has communicated for a number of well-known organizations. Holding degrees in public health and journalism, she brings an ability to research, simplify and communicate challenging concepts as well as a keen eye for detail. A creative with Type A business and organizational skills, Karen excels at conceptualization and has the talents to bring ideas to life. Originally from Chicago, she now lives in the Pacific Northwest and counts spending time with her daughter, home renovation, playing piano and drinking a great cup of coffee as some of her favorite things.
