High School Item & Test Bank provides administrators with Practice Tests for the ACT Exam & CCSS Aligned End-of-Course Assessments

Charlotte, NC- January 30, 2013 LearningStation™, a leading provider of customizable K-12 student assessment software is pleased to announce the launch of its High School Item Bank, providing districts with practice tests for the ACT® Exam and EOC Assessment content.  Accessible through it’s flagship platform, LearningStation Insight, both school and district administrators have access to 9 standards aligned End-of-Course assessments and 3 full practice tests for the ACT Exam, with writing prompts included.  Educators have full access to the Item Bank from virtually any device, as well as in print/scan versions, all at less than $5 per student.

With school districts nationwide taking a much more active role in preparation for the ACT Exam, they are looking to the industry for solutions to streamline the process, making it less of a burden. With the release of their High School Item & Test bank, LearningStation has gone above and beyond yet again.  They have taken their answer another step further by including writing prompts, with rubrics to act as a guide, making the grading process easier for teachers & administrators. By providing extra support like this, educators are able to provide more complete, powerful feedback to students, in a shorter amount of time.

The second component of LearningStation’s High School Item & Test Bank are the End-of-Course (EOC) Assessments, which are fully aligned to the CCSS and CCC Standards covering everything from World Geography to Algebra and Chemistry.   Fully accessible through the Insight Platform, this Item Bank offers the same ease-of-use educators have enjoyed for years.

“These are such important issues in High Schools across the country, we are thrilled to offer a cost effective solution to not only streamline the process, but more importantly, provide educators with means to provide valuable, timely feedback to their students,” comments CEO Jim Kirchner.  He continues, “Our users, both current and future, are at the heart of everything we do at LearningStation.”
