Helping TEL.A.VISION Connect to Educators

logologo

For much of 2008 and now into 2009, I’ve been working on an exciting project called “TEL•A•VISION” and driving forward on ensuring the widest possible exposure to it within K12 education.

TEL•A•VISION is a new way for youth to bring their dreams to life using technology, and has already launched at www.telavision.tv and you can read stories, see the inspiring vision videos and understand more at our blog here.

The free tools on the TEL•A•VISION site help kids worldwide easily create a vision story of who they want to be and what they want to do in the future, inspiring visions of hope, peace and possibility.

TEL•A•VISION was founded by Minnesota entrepreneur George Johnson whom I’ve worked with previously on another technology adventure. Frustrated by so much negative imagery in the world, primarily on television, he decided to create a way to give kids a voice and a platform to share their stories and dreams for themselves and a better world. It’s his hope that by sharing with each other, youth around the world will realize how much they have in common. Take a peek at the video below to get a taste of what TEL•A•VISION is all about:

I’ve really been enjoying how TEL.A.VISION has been using social media in an authentic way. Great job!
